I’ve been watching the show since it premiered, and I even wrote a review for each episode when they came out. So it’s only natural that I would make a pizza recipe inspired by the show.

While this pizza isn’t the same recipe as what was made in the show, I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it.

“The Upside Down” is where the boys go to escape the reality of their lives. But what if there were another way to escape? What if the boys entered the Upside Down and found themselves in the real world without knowing how they got there?

I just wanted to share a quick and easy recipe I created from a pizza restaurant from Netflix’s popular series Stranger Things.

Stranger things pizza 

This pizza recipe came to me when I was brainstorming about my new book.

I was trying to figure out what kind of pizza I could include in my book because I wanted to avoid making a list of ‘101 things you should try while living in the suburbs.

So, in inspiration, I thought about making a pizza that’s not like anything else. It’s based on a recipe from a show I love, Stranger Things.

The pizza was inspired by a scene where Dustin and Lucas enter Hawkins National Park.

As you can see from the photo above, it’s a lot like a deep-dish pizza, but it has a few twists that set it apart from your typical pizza.

How to make pizza 

This pizza recipe was inspired by the first Stranger Things season when Eleven was a kid. It was a simple pizza made with canned tomato sauce and pizza toppings.

The only difference is that now we’re using fresh tomatoes and ingredients, and Eleven is a grown-up.
